This hormone typically stops the ovaries from getting released. It also condenses the cervical mucus, keeping all sperm from getting together with egg. The cost is about $150 a year for a five-year period. The Doctor will eventually charge an additional fee in order to remove the Norplant her body and that costs from $100 to $200.Some insurance plans may cover Norplant. Norplant is one of the most effective birth control. It becomes effectual in 24 hours of insertion. Out of 10,000 women that get Norplant 5 will get pregnant.
